Tell us about oh the wonder. What inspired you to create this platform? I’d just moved to a brand new country. Life was so new and I began to really dream again, and wonder what was possible for our lives.  I started an Instagram account to document the process with the view of launching the blog straight after, which I did.  I think people are attracted to something so positive and encouraging.

How did you come up with the name? It was a very regular day. I was driving and thinking about the name for my blog. I loved the name wonder, meaning a feeling of amazement and admiration, caused by something beautiful, remarkable, or unfamiliar. I guess oh the wonder rolled off the tongue and it just felt right. I didn’t overthink it, I just went with it!

I’m inspired every time I read a post on the blog or on social media. Tell us about your mission and why it’s so important. My mission is to help women recognise, that they have strength, value and purpose. That no matter what life throws at them, they can show up in the world, with courage and do the thing they know they are called to do. Life is far too short for us to be stuck, settling in a job we hate!

How do you come up with ideas for blog posts? All from experience. I really value authenticity. I often share my mistakes, my wins and all of the learning along the way.

There is such a strong community of women empowering other women. Who inspires you? I probably have a wide range of incredible women who inspire me through their teachings, books and podcasts; Bobbie Houston, Christene Caine, Marie Forleo would be my top three!

What books/sites would you recommend to those seeking some inspiration and knowledge? For business and entrepreneurship I highly recommend marieforleo.com Marie is practical and down to earth, and has many free resources to help you get out of a funk, and recognise what you really love. I love to listen to the lively show, Rob Bell, Charlotte Gambill.

We love inspirational quotes! What are a few of your favourites?
Possibly something as simple as “Just start.” So often we get caught up in the trap of thinking that something has to be perfect before we begin. Don’t be afraid to put something out to the world that is a little less perfect, and a little more you. That way, you may just inspire somebody else to “just start.”

What can we expect in the future from oh the wonder?
More blogging, interviews, collaborations and one on one coaching.
